Have you tried the "Caramel Treatment" yet? I haven't, but it sounds like something I want to try. The ingredient list is rather lengthy and you can purchase this ready made if you want to spend the dough.
Melt the oils a bit if they are solids. Mix all together and apply to , leave on 90 minutes under a steam cap or overnight for moisture starved hair. Some recipes call for cornstarch to thicken, and WGO vs. red palm oil. If using cornstarch, you will need to warm (not cook) on the stove a bit to activate the cornstarch. I suppose you could use any simple oils you may have (eg., coconut, shea butter, jojoba etc). In this, recipe coconut oil is used instead of coconut milk, which should make it less of a mess. If you are not the naturalista type, save yourself some dishes and buy the product called Carmel Treatment by E'tae Natural Products. For the price of $19.99 you get the 8oz treatment, you might come out ahead with the home version, especially if you already have these ingredients on hand, IDK, do the math and let me know.
