How to #FAIL with Lace Fronts

After spending hours washing, drying, straightening, and braiding, I put my wig on and was totally unsatisfied. I mean, I wasted an entire morning trying to apply it and I failed miserably. I didn't even take a picture, that's how unhappy I was. I have worn this wig in the past, when my hair was much easier to put under a wig cap. That picture could not be located. I was in a bikini anyway!! I guess it's time to buy a new one, this one was a bit too small anyway. THIS IS MY WIG PURCHASED FROM HAIRSISTERS.COM HAIR TIDY FOR WIG APPLICATION, I GUESS I LEFT TOO MUCH HAIR OUT After much frustration with the wig, I decided I had enough hair and did not need to hide it underneath a wig. I almost looked exactly like my real hair anyway. LACE FRONT I BOUGHT FOR MY BIG CHOP, THIS LASTED 2 WEEKS BEFORE I DECIDED I DIDN'T NEED THIS EITHER HOMEMADE WIG, THIS WAS MY FAVE ONE AND IT FIT PERFECTLY AND COST LIKE $10 AND LASTED A L...

Summer Tree Braids

I have been getting my hair braided for years. Box braids, micros, kinky twists, weaves, cornrows. Last year I stumbled upon "tree braids" while online, and fell in love with them. They look like free flowing hair, almost like a weave, but without the sewing or the dreadful glueing. You can choose any type hair, and do many styles. Socializing, that alone, made me keep my distance, thus not being able to get my beloved tree braids!! That and the fact that I couldn't find any info on tree braiders for my area. I finally stumbled across someone who can do it, from their home!! Yay!! Let me tell you, it took me a good week to call her and make my a...

Girl, You Wearing A Wig?!?

Every now and then, I feel the need to have long hair or straight hair, or long curly hair. When this undeniable feeling creeps into my bones, I go to my trusty hair pieces. Wigs, Falls, Hats, Pieces, or whatever you may call them, they all serve a purpose, to make you look like eye candy!! Let's face it, not everyone likes the natural look. I only do this on special occasions, when I feel my natural may not be appropriate. That feeling is coming less often and the  last time I did wear one my boyfriend says "Oh, I wanted  you to wear it curly". Can't win either way!! How often do you don your piece?
